Le quartet funambule began at the Théâtre de la Vieille Grille in Paris, directed by Anne Quesemand. After performing in Paris for two years, Le quartet funambule traveled to the Festival OFF in Avingon, in the summer of 2018, where they performed at the Espace Alya. Since 2020 the quartet has been working with the actress/stage director, Delphine Guillaud. In July 2021, Le quartet funambule was in residence at La Fabrique in Burgundy, France. 

 

The first CD, Fragments by the  quartet funambule recorded in 2018, also traveled. An album for violin, cello and piano by Laurent Grynszpan, this repertoire caught the eye of the movie music publisher, PennyBank Tunes who signed it into publishing in 2019. Thus, the title of the CD became Pictures of the Past with all the songs on the album made available internationally to film producers as well as to the general public.
